Design Considerations

• Width — single file (18–24") vs. side-by-side (36–48")
• Sub-base preparation and compaction for long-term stability
• Edge restraint to prevent spreading and settling
• Drainage slope away from structures
• Lighting integration — path lights recessed into or alongside
• Connection to driveway, patio, and entry points

Materials We Use

• Texas limestone and sandstone — natural, local character
• Decomposed granite — permeable and very Austin
• Concrete pavers — many shapes and colors available
• Reclaimed brick — warmth and texture
