About This Project

Glenn came to us wanting a backyard that could handle both family use and Austin's brutal summers without constant maintenance. The existing yard had poor drainage, sparse plantings, and no defined outdoor living area — common challenges for Southwest Austin properties.

Our team developed a layered plan: starting with the hardscape foundation — a limestone patio and integrated seating wall — then building out with drought-tolerant native plantings that would establish quickly and thrive long-term. Landscape lighting was added to extend the usable hours of the space well into the evening.

The finished space is a defined outdoor room that feels like it belongs to the property — durable, low-maintenance, and designed for real Austin life.
